Support West Jackson's life-changing ministry efforts in Jackson, North America, and throughout the world by making your contribution today!
Make a One-time / Recurring Donation Online
To make a quick one-time gift or set up a recurring donation online, we invite you to consider using the West Jackson mobile app or log in to your member profile on TouchPoint (click the “Give” link on the left menu). Online giving is quick and easy, and should take just a few minutes to set up.
Don't prefer to give online, but know that you will be out of Jackson during the summer or for an extended trip? Consider setting up your online gift for while you are away and then continue to give in person when you return.
Other Ways To Give
Below we have listed all of the ways that you can give to West Jackson Baptist Church and support our many ministries. If you require additional assistance from our Finance Office, please e-mail Russ Cooper or call our office at 731-660-4535 ext. 125.
Give In Person or Mail Your Check
If you would like to write a check or give cash, please bring it with you to a Sunday service. We have offering envelopes available in the Worship Center; simply place your gift in the envelope provided and drop it into an offering plate as it is passed during worship. All gifts are processed and deposited the next day. If you cannot make it on a Sunday morning but still want to send in your gift, you can simply mail in your gift to our church office. Simply send your offering in a secure envelope to the following address:
West Jackson Baptist Church
ATTN: Finance Office
580 Oil Well Rd.
Jackson, TN. 38305
Your envelope will be immediately forwarded to the Finance Office to be processed and counted toward the following week’s offering (no other staff member will open your envelope).
Many aren’t aware that the same process that allows employers to make automatic payroll deductions for things such as child support and charitable contributions like the United Way, can also be used to give directly to the church. By requesting a Payroll Deduction Form from your employer and submitting to your Human Resources department, you can make contributions to the church automatically.
Leave A Gift In Your Will
Under current tax laws, unnecessary estate taxes are often paid by the estates of those who have died. By leaving a portion of your assets to the church in your will, you not only avoid losing a large part of your estate to death taxes but also will continue making a difference in the lives of people long after you have departed.
Donation Of Valuables
Instead of using your car for a trade-in, you can donate a car to the church and receive a tax write-off. This is not only limited to cars, but also includes boats, land, jewelry, and any other items of value. When you donate a valuable item to the church, we will secure an estimate of value and then issue a tax-deductible receipt.
Gifts of Stocks & Bonds (Avoid Capital Gains Tax)
Stocks, bonds, and mutual funds are great ways to give without incurring capital gains on appreciated assets. You can transfer your stock gift from your account directly to the church’s account. We will sell the asset and apply the amount of the sale to your annual contribution statement. If you have a stock certificate on hand and want to discuss how to make the transfer, contact our Finance Office at 731-660-4535 ext. 125 or e-mail Russ Cooper at [email protected]
